What we can’t help with

We can’t take reports, investigate scams, recover money or assess individual situations. If you’ve lost money, Scamwatch advises contacting your bank or card provider straight away. Official reporting and support services are listed in where to report in Australia. In an emergency, call 000.

Please don’t send sensitive information. Never email us passwords, one-time codes, account numbers, identity documents, or screenshots that show personal details. We will never ask for them.
