Corrections policy
How to report an error, and how CyberThreats.au reviews and corrects its content.
We aim to be accurate, and we want to know when we’re not.
How to report an error
Use the details on our contact page. Please include:
- the address of the page
- what you believe is incorrect or out of date
- a link to an official or primary source, if you have one.
What happens next
- We review the report against current sources.
- If a change is needed, we prepare a correction and it’s approved before it goes live.
- We update the page and its “last reviewed” date.
- For significant corrections, such as a change to a described step, a phone number or a factual claim, we add a short note at the end of the page describing what changed and when.
Minor changes, such as fixing a typo or a broken link, are made without a note.
Urgent corrections
If an error could cause harm, for example an incorrect phone number for a reporting service, please say so in your message. We prioritise these.
Concerns about content
If you believe content is unfair, misleading or infringes your rights, tell us. We’ll review it promptly and correct or remove it where appropriate.
