Google has moved Chrome 155 to its Stable channel for desktop computers. According to the Chrome Releases post, the update includes 37 security fixes.

Google doesn’t say in the post that any of these flaws have been exploited.

Who it affects

People using Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop. The post lists these versions:

  • Windows and Mac: 155.0.8059.79/.80
  • Linux: 155.0.8059.79

Google says the update will roll out over the coming days and weeks, so not every computer receives it at the same time.

What the source says

The release post announces the version numbers and lists the security fixes; it doesn’t include separate steps for users. A computer showing one of the version numbers above, or a later one, has the update.
